Eva Olbers

Behind every successful venture there is a strong team. My passion is to help our portfolio companies grow by working closely with the people behind them as they build and scale.

Eva leads Portfolio Support and Business Development at PI. She is deeply passionate about working with startup teams to understand what drives them, assess the challenges they are facing, and drive solutions and growth strategies together. In her role, Eva also focuses on developing PI’s global investor and expert networkas well as building meaningful relationships with PI’s external stakeholders.

Prior to joining PI, Eva was an Operating Partner at Point72 Ventures, whereshe built the Value Creation function for the fund's AI/DeepTech investments. Prior to that, Eva led Portfolio Success at the Microsoft Accelerator in London, drove EMEA Business Development for the Machine Learning startup Knewton, and advised Fortune 500 companies at the Boston Consulting Group. Eva holds master’s degrees from the London Business School and the Harvard Kennedy School of Government. While at Harvard, she and her MIT co-founders founded the startup STEMgem with the mission to inspire more teenage girls to engage in the STEM fields via a wearable device, an idea that won the Harvard President’s Innovation Challenge.

Eva is a World Economic Forum Global Shaper and a selected invitee to the Annual Meeting in Davos. Originally from Germany and Luxembourg, she is conversational in seven languages, including Spanish, French, and Mandarin Chinese. In her free time, Eva likes to be outdoors as much as possible with her husband and daughter. She is an avid trail runner, backcountry skier, mountaineer, and ice climber and has completed several summits in the US, the Alps, and the Himalayas.
