Vijendar manages the US external fund investment portfolio at Premji Invest and heads finance for our US portfolio. He has 17+ years of experience, both in operating and investment support roles. He is responsible for executing our external fund investments (VC/PE) strategy in the US and, as a finance head, partner with investment teams on evaluation, negotiation & closing of deals, portfolio management and exit planning. He serves on the boards of select portfolio companies and fund entities. Prior to this role, he was heading portfolio finance for India Industrials strategy and worked on several successful buyout deals, M&A & IPOs.
Before joining Premji Invest, Vijendar held diverse finance roles across multiple industries, including a listed company, a growth-stage company, and a startup. His experience has equipped him with a deep understanding of the financial and operational aspects of various business models. A chartered accountant, Vijendar was among the top national merit list honorees.
