Curt Herberts is a seasoned biotech executive with over 20 years of experience leading operations, corporate development, and strategic initiatives in cell and gene therapy companies. Most recently, he served as President and Chief Operating Officer at Kriya Therapeutics, where he oversaw all G&A functions including finance, investor relations, corporate development, legal and intellectual property, people operations, and program management.
Prior to Kriya, Herberts held leadership roles at Senti Biosciences, Inc., serving as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Business Officer from 2018 to 2021, and Chief Operating Officer from 2021 to 2022. Earlier in his career, he was Chief Business Officer at Sangamo Therapeutics and held consulting positions at Campbell Alliance Group, a leading management consulting firm specializing in the life sciences industry.
Herberts earned his B.A. in Human Biology from Stanford University and his Master of Business and Science from the Keck Graduate Institute of Applied Life Sciences.
