As Co-founder and CTO of Navan, Ilan Twig leads the engineering and product vision for the global AI-powered travel and expense management platform. A veteran of the tech industry with over two decades of experience, Ilan is the architect of Navan Cognition, a pioneering multi-agent AI framework designed to deliver enterprise-grade reliability and prioritize zero critical hallucinations. Throughout Navan’s decade of growth, Ilan has spearheaded the company’s most pivotal technological milestones, from its expansion into integrated expense management to the launch of the AI-powered assistant, Ava. His technical leadership was instrumental in Navan’s successful 2025 initial public offering, and he continues to define how generative AI automates complex business operations at scale. Prior to Navan, Ilan co-founded StreamOnce (acquired by Jive Software) and led large-scale R&D teams at Hewlett-Packard and Rockmelt. He holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the Academic College of Tel-Aviv, Yaffo.
